Beachburg Ontario

We are looking for a house/pet sitter for our 50 acre hobby farm in the Ottawa Valley. Get away from the city and enjoy country life, walk through the fields, cycle the country roads, stargaze, catch fire flies, pick flowers in the cutting garden and cuddle chickens. Conveniently located for white water rafting (~20 minute drive) and just a 5 minute drive to the cute town of Beachburg. Pets include a goofy German Shepherd, two spoiled cats and a few dozen free range chickens and guinea fowl (all you can eat eggs included with the job). House has high speed internet, air conditioning, a fire place, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. Pet care will include throwing a ball for the dog, snuggling the one clingy cat, feeding chickens and making sure everyone (cats and chickens) are safely inside for the night. The chickens have an automatic door and mostly go in on their own, but occasionally one will decide they want to stay in the barn and hatch an egg. The cats see escaping the house in the evenings as a big game.
We do have honeybees which don't require any work, but noting in case anyone has allergies.
