Hi there. We are looking for a caring and trusted cat/home sitter (single or a couple) with whom we hope to forge a long-term relationship. This first time it's only for 4 nights, but we like to take fairly frequent weekends away, as well as a few longer holidays each year, so someone local, near Calgary would be ideal. We have a beautiful, clean, open, modern home (you must be ok with stairs) and people generally love to stay here. You are welcome to use the saltwater hot tub, fir sauna, rowing machine and work-out equipment. And if you love to cook, you'll love our kitchen. Grocery and specialty food shops are accesible on foot, or a very short drive away. Awesome neighbors too. Our 2 cats are seniors, 14 years old, and are used to someone being home most of the time (hubs has always worked from home). One of them can be a little bit bitey and scratchy but as soon as he realizes you are his source of providing food, he will be your good buddy. The other is quiet, cuddly, and sweet. Our internet connection is excellent, and the home is very centrally located to explore 17th Ave, Marda Loop, Kensington, Mission and more on foot. The river pathways are a longer walk away, but also accessible on foot. Rates are negotiable.
