Bridgewater Nova Scotia

I work from home with 4 rescue dogs of varying sizes. I occasionally travel for work or fun, or to the hospital. I would love to exchange a stay in my home on the South Shore of Nova Scotia with some dog care. My dogs well being is very important to me, hence trying the housesitters website. If you work from home or anywhere this may be great for you to explore our nearby ocean and sites on your down time.

I don't expect you to juggle four dogs on walks and not have issues, i would be pleased if they have stimulation and play time and snuggles after.
We have a renovated 125 year old home in the middle of town town with a population of under 10,000 on the Lahave River which leads to the ocean. Plenty of amazing sandy beaches close! We are 25 minutes to the Historic Town of Lunenburg, a Unesco World Heritage Site and 15 minutes from Mahone Bay. There is plenty to see and do if you love kayaking, sailing or visiting some amazing restaurants for seafood. Downtown Halifax is about 1 hour 20 minutes away not including traffic if you are travelling during work hours.
The home has a fenced garden area for the pooches. They need a regular schedule of feeding and watering the lawn with some stimulation time... throw the ball or just let them out to play while you BBQ or relax on the deck. They are full on play or snuggle mode. The only fight is over food, which we have routine to avoid this. As rescue dogs, they all need love and care, hoping to find someone who deeply gets this.
There are the typical amenities in the home, with parking, wifi, dishwasher, bbq, front covered porch to sit on for the sunsets or the rainy nights. Main bath on the upper level and half bath on the main floor.
You room will have a queen bed, dresser, freestanding clothing rack, night table and a desk and fan. Its being freshly painted this Easter Weekend .
