My little house is less than 2 blocks from Colpoys Bay and the Bruce Trail, in the town of Wiarton. It's cozy, with 2 small bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, in a very quiet neighbourhood. Lots of outdoor activities here, including hiking, kayaking/boating and getting to know Wiarton Willie! You can pretty much walk anywhere and find what you need in less than 10 minutes (including the library, grocery store and Tim Hortons). My beautiful kitty, Luna, is timid but extremely affectionate once she gets to know you. I also have a small aquarium filled with guppies and other community fish. My fenced yard is private and has a small pond, where I love spending summer afternoons in the garden. Please msg me if you love cats, fish and the beautiful outdoors in general. Wiarton is lovely in late summer!
Looking after Joanne's sweet tempered little dog, Chili, was a delight, and the lakeside setting was the perfect place to relax. I was grateful that Joanne provided full details on Chili's care and routines and other household matters. She was very communicative and flexible especially when the arrival of a hurricane required some changes in plans. A lovely experience.
