Joel & Nahanni

Nice to meet you!

Joel and I work in the maintenance department at a resort in a provincial park in Manitoba! We love the restoration of buildings, green spaces, communities and individuals lives. We’re passionate about stewardship, the outdoors, learning, social activism, and mental health.

We currently live in a small town, enjoying a slower and simpler pace of life after being in university and living in cities. A little about our background, Joel grew up on a farm in Manitoba. He has experience being a camp cook, turkey farming, grain farming and property maintenance for a rental company, camp, and apartment building! Joel also ran his own business doing house renovations part time/full time for the past three years. Joel is a gifted "problem solver," and he's known as the guy that can fix it! (whatever that may be).

Nahanni grew up in Ontario; she set off to British Columbia for school after high school. She lived in different provinces working at children's camps, and retreat centers and doing schooling before marrying Joel and settling in Manitoba in 2018.
