I am a Mom, (two boys, one girl, all adults), a Nanny, (one wee boy), a wife, a teacher, a cat sitter, an amateur gardener, a runner, and a former pet owner.

I am retired but still teach one or two days weeks as a supply teacher.

I love the outdoors, camping and hiking being two of my favourite activities. I began running when my kids were small as a way to have some ‘me’ time and get some exercise. Like many others, I fell in love with the sport itself and continue to run because I can.

I also like cooking and baking, my kitchen being my favourite room in the house. For some unknown reason, pies have become my signature dessert and are enjoyed by family and friends.

I am also a reader and a writer. One of my goals for 2024 is to publish a short story…
