Hello dear pet owners,
My name is Anke, I’m 31 years old from Germany, and currently traveling through Canada. During my time here, I would love to care for your beloved pets and look after your home

Animals have always held a special place in my heart. Until May 2024, I had a cat who was with me for 15 wonderful years. Sadly, I had to say goodbye due to his age and health issues. He required daily medication and special care in his final years, so I’m experienced in looking after elderly and sick pets and am confident in administering medication when needed.

After his passing, I began volunteering at a local animal shelter, which helped me stay close to animals and give back to those in need. I'm also familiar with dogs, especially large breeds. Until 2018, my mother and I shared our lives with a livestock guardian dog (Herdenschutzhund), so I’m very comfortable around dogs and enjoy spending time with them — especially outdoors. I love hiking and would be thrilled to take your dog with me on adventures, provided they’re up for it!

You can count on me to be reliable, clean, and respectful of your home. I don’t smoke or use any drugs, and I take pride in being a responsible and trustworthy sitter.

Pet care

I had cats for 15 years and am very familiar with their needs. Administering medication is no problem for me.
In his final years, my cat had problems with his kidneys, heart, arthritis, and dementia.

I also have experience with dogs, as we had one ourselves.
