Housesitting gives me an avenue for adventure, community and new interactions,

I was born and raised in Manitoba, Canada, on the outskirts of Winnipeg.

After graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor's degree in what is now part of Community Health Services, I switched gears and was hired by a City of Winnipeg department in emergency services, where I continue to work to this day. My profession provides me with continued personal development and a little bit of exercise.

I currently coexist with one fish. He is very old and does not care for conversation.
I have lived with and cared for 4 dogs (big and small, indoor and outdoor, mobile and not) and 3 cats (indoor and outdoor) at different stages in my life. I have also goat-sat and chicken-sat at one point in my life.
