Hey, I am Steffi. Multi-skilled, multi-passionate and embracing it all. I am an experienced teacher and content developer, respectful, active and communicative.

I feel comfortable caring for a new place and connecting with and caring for small animals. I have a green thumb and love to connect with neighbors. I am observant and attentive, even to the smaller details; being in a new environment makes me feel alive.

"So, what do you do?"

Well, I’ve got an MEd in German and English, plus a PhD in Applied Linguistics and Indigenous Studies. On top of that, I’m a yoga, meditation, movement, and dance teacher. I’ve worn many hats. I designed and led wellness retreats, company workshops, and professional development sessions. I teach students, coach teachers, and specialize in creating embodied and mindful learning experiences.

I teach students, coach teachers, and specialize in creating embodied and mindful learning experiences.

I am originally from Germany but have lived and worked in Canada for over 20 years. (mostly in Ottawa, two years in Hamilton, a year in Vancouver, and a year in Saint John). I managed 2 houses with my partner and partly took care of his now adult kids and mother.

Now it's time to see more of Canada again. My remote work makes it possible.

Pet care

I have sitted cats and birds. My best friend has a small dog, so I spend a lot of time with her and take her sometimes over the weekend when my friend needs to travel for work.
