Hello! We're Stieg and Sheila, a happily married couple of almost 50 years who are excited to combine our love of travel with our love of animals. Stieg, 70, recently retired from a career in management, and Sheila, 69, spent her professional career working with international education. Stieg, 70, recently retired from a career in management, and Sheila, 69, spent her professional career working with international education. Our careers gave us the wonderful opportunity to travel extensively around the world, creating memories and friendships that we cherish.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. We have three daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law, seven amazing grandchildren, and, of course, our two beloved fur babies—Archie, our Goldendoodle, and Finley, our Yellow Labrador. When we travel, Archie and Finley are happily cared for by trusted pet sitters through this platform. They're much happier staying in the comfort of our lakeside home, where they receive plenty of love, attention, and spoiling while we're away.

One thing we always missed during our holiday travel was the companionship of a dog and were excited if we found a way to adopt one for a couple days. Our last holiday in Bali we loved that the two neighbours dogs came to visit us every day. We love exploring new places on foot, and every walk is even better when it's shared with a furry friend (or two!). While we still plan to take one international adventure each year, we're now looking forward to discovering more of Canada's beautiful communities—and what better way than by caring for wonderful pets along the way?

When we're at home, you'll usually find us enjoying life at our peaceful lakefront property, surrounded by nature and abundant wildlife. We love spending time outdoors, foraging, hiking, and learning about the many edible and medicinal plants and flowers that grow in our area. We take great pride in our home and understand how important it is to know your pets and your home are in caring, responsible hands.

As pet owners ourselves, we know that leaving your beloved companions is never easy. That's why we'll care for your pets with the same love, patience, attention, and affection that we give Archie and Finley ( lots of belly rubs) . We'll also treat your home with the utmost respect and care, as if it were our own. We look forward to meeting you, getting to know your furry family members, and giving you complete peace of mind while you're away.
