Hi! We're Nikola and Jory - just a couple of teachers who love exploring the world when we're not in the classroom!

We love the chance to experience new communities while giving homeowners complete peace of mind. It's a beautiful exchange—we care for your home and pets as if they were our own, and in return, we get to experience a place through the eyes of a local.

We treat every home with the same respect and care we would our own: keeping it clean, tidy, and well cared for so you can travel with complete peace of mind.

Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. We've both grown up with dogs, cats, and even a bird! We know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and we love taking the time to earn their trust. Whether it's long walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, administering simple care, or simply keeping them company, we'll love your pets as if they were our own. (Nikola is even the kind of person who gently catches spiders and releases them outside!)

As teachers, patience, responsibility, and communication are second nature to us. Jory teaches Kindergarten, and Nikola teaches middle school. Together, we're organized, dependable, and comfortable adapting to different routines and environments. Currently, we are exploring teaching jobs in British Columbia. This gives us the ability of flexible work, meaning that if your furry family member needs a human at home majority of the day, we are able to make it work!

Outside of work, you'll usually find us exploring the outdoors. Hiking mountain trails, spending time by the ocean or in the forest, and discovering beautiful natural places is our idea of a perfect day. As we begin exploring Western Canada, we're excited to experience local communities in a meaningful way rather than simply passing through. House sitting allows us to do exactly that while helping homeowners feel confident that everything back home is in caring hands.

We also enjoy the quieter moments. Jory loves baking fresh treats and caring for plants. Nikola speaks Serbian and loves to run. Both of us are non-smokers.

For us, house sitting is built on mutual trust. You deserve to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are loved, your plants are thriving, your home is being respected, and everything will be just as you left it. We would be honoured to provide that peace of mind and look forward to caring for your home, your pets, and everything that makes your space special.

Pet care

Both have pet-sat for various combinations of cats and dogs! Nikola grew up with birds and dogs. Jory grew up on a farm with large dogs and many cats (both farm cats and domestic).
