I’ve worked hard to buy my own home, so I understand how much your place means to you. When I house sit, I treat your home as if it were my own, keeping it tidy, comfortable, and well looked after. Having rented out my house in the past, I know how important it is to have guests who respect your space, and I bring that same level of care and consideration to every stay. Whether I’m house sitting or staying in an Airbnb, I always treat the place as if it were my own, and I understand how important it is to feel that your home is being respected.

I work remotely on my computer, mostly on online courses, while I house sit, so I spend a good amount of time at home. I’m happy to follow clear, simple instructions and help with things like collecting mail or keeping an eye on plants, and I can also care for pets that fit well with my routine. I walk between 5–10 km most days, so regular dog walks can easily be part of my stay when needed. My focus is on providing a calm, reliable presence in your home and treating your space with the same care and respect that I give my own.

Animals are an important part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or simply providing quiet companionship, I aim to keep pets happy, safe, and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I’m patient and gentle, and I understand how much it means to know your pets are comfortable while you’re away.

I love my own home and I also enjoy experiencing different places and neighborhoods. I live in a rural bush setting, so quiet or more remote locations are very comfortable for me, and I’m happy in peaceful surroundings while I look after your home. Overall, my goal is to be a steady, respectful presence who cares for your property and, when needed, your pets, so you can return to a home that feels just the way you left it.

Growing up, our family always had pets, and as an adult I’ve cared for several dogs of my own, including a boxer and pugs. I frequently pet sit for my son’s large chocolate-brown lab, so I’m very comfortable with bigger, energetic dogs who need regular walks and attention. I don’t have a pet of my own right now because I like to travel, and house sitting gives me a lovely opportunity to enjoy animals for shorter periods of time while still being able to move around.
