I understand that trusting someone with your pets and home is a very personal decision. My priority would be to keep your pets’ days familiar and comfortable, follow your instructions carefully, respect your privacy, and care for your home exactly as agreed.

A Calm and Flexible Daily Routine

My work is flexible and entirely laptop-based, allowing me to spend a good amount of time at home and organise my day around your pets’ usual routine. I would carefully follow all agreed feeding, walking, playtime and medication routines, while giving your pets the companionship they are used to.

I take the time to understand what helps each animal feel comfortable—whether they are affectionate and playful, independent and relaxed, or shy and in need of patience and personal space.

Outside work and pet-care responsibilities, I enjoy exploring nearby neighbourhoods and local places. Before confirming a sit, I would make sure I fully understand your pets’ usual routine, including any evening or bedtime needs, and plan my outings around it.

I also enjoy quieter activities, including reading, watching a good show, taking nature walks and relaxing at home with the pets nearby.

Responsible and Respectful Home Care

Completing my education through independent study taught me to be organised, self-disciplined, reliable, and comfortable managing my own routine.

I have experience staying alone in a house and managing its everyday care. I am comfortable keeping a home secure and tidy, collecting mail, caring for plants and noticing when something requires attention.

I would be happy to provide regular photographs and updates at an agreed frequency, so you can feel reassured and connected while you are away.

Pet care

Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I shared a close bond with my childhood cat for 10 wonderful years. Although she is sadly no longer with me, she taught me a great deal about trust, companionship, and noticing small changes in behaviour.

Today, I care for my ... Read moreAnimals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I shared a close bond with my childhood cat for 10 wonderful years. Although she is sadly no longer with me, she taught me a great deal about trust, companionship, and noticing small changes in behaviour.

Today, I care for my much-loved cat Joey, as well as his sister Rachel, who visits regularly. This has given me hands-on experience with feeding routines, litter care, keeping pet areas clean, and adapting to different personalities.

Although I have not owned dogs, fish, rabbits, or guinea pigs myself, I have spent time with dogs and small pets and enjoy their company. I am also comfortable following clear instructions for fish care. I would care for each pet with patience, attentiveness, warmth and respect.
