We love house sitting because it lets us experience places like locals, meet wonderful people, and save our pennies while travelling. Best of all, it gives us our much needed pet cuddles while we’re missing our own pets back at home

Hi! We’re Brooke (25) and Reilly (25), an Australian couple currently travelling through Canada. We love exploring new places, meeting new people, and experiencing local communities rather than just passing through as tourists.

Last winter we spent the snow season at Big White, making the most of every day on the mountain snowboarding. Last winter we spent the snow season at Big White, making the most of every day on the mountain snowboarding. Since then we’ve travelled through Central America for three months, chasing surf, the ocean, and creating new memories. We’re now back in Canada looking for work while continuing our travels, and house sitting is the perfect way for us to settle into different communities and experience life like locals.

We both grew up in small coastal surf towns in Australia; Reilly in Western Australia and me in New South Wales. We were raised on properties where there was always something to do, which taught us to be practical, resourceful, and responsible from a young age. We’re both very handy and happy to tackle small jobs or solve problems when they arise.

I have worked with children since leaving school, first as a preschool teacher and more recently running my own private nanny business. I also work as a content creator and model. Reilly is a qualified electrician and has also worked in aged care and within his family’s natural skincare and soap business. These experiences have helped us become adaptable, reliable, and confident in taking on responsibility.

Outside of work, we love spending time outdoors. Reilly enjoys surfing, diving, and exploring nature. I love art, reading, travelling, the ocean, swimming, and photography. We both come from big families. I have four siblings, while Reilly has two siblings and lots of cousins; so we’ve always been surrounded by people, laughter, and busy households.

We also grew up with dogs, chickens, and other animals, so caring for pets and maintaining a home has always been part of everyday life. Friends, family, and employers describe us as easy going, respectful, reliable, responsible, mature, and approachable.

We understand that inviting someone into your home is a big decision. We’ll treat your home with genuine respect, keep it clean and secure, communicate openly, and make sure everything is just as you left it. We’re excited to meet new people, contribute to the communities we stay in, and give homeowners complete peace of mind while they’re away.

Over the years we’ve regularly house sat and pet sat for family, friends, and previous homeowners, looking after daily routines such as feeding, walking, playtime, and general home care. This has included dogs, cats, chickens, and other farm and domestic animals. We’re confident following clear instructions, including giving basic medication if needed, and we always take the time to understand each animal’s individual needs and personality. We’re reliable, organised, and respectful of people’s homes, and we take pride in keeping everything clean, secure, and well cared for so owners can travel with peace of mind.

We both grew up in rural towns, so we’ve been around farm animals through school, as well as time spent on friends’ and family’s farms. This has given us a good practical understanding of general animal care and farm environments. We’re comfortable getting hands-on, whether that’s feeding animals, assisting with daily chores, or helping keep things running smoothly.

We’re responsible, easy to work with, and genuinely enjoy being around animals and rural settings.
