I’m a solo Australian traveller planning an extended trip to Canada and would love to combine my travels with house-sitting opportunities, allowing me to experience local communities in a genuine and meaningful way. Rather than simply passing through as a tourist, I enjoy settling into a neighbourhood, getting to know an area, and experiencing everyday life from a local perspective.

Agnes was an excellent house sitter, she took great care of our garden, plants, our cat and kept the house spotless clean. Communication was easy and clear and it is very easy to get along with her. She was very kind and great to chat with. We would have her house sit again anytime!

Agnes was simply wonderful! We can't thank her enough for coming to our rescue after another house sitter had to pull out due to ill health. Agnes left our house and garden in tip top shape and we had a very contented kelpie on our return. Agnes also sent us regular updates and pictures to reassure us that our pooch was being very well looked after. Agnes was hands on and very helpful. She was also flexible and accommodating as we had a few tradesmen requiring access to our house while we were away. We were so fortunate to have Agnes stay and care for our 3 dogs, 1 cat and a lamb. Agnes is a lovely friendly person. Nothing was difficult for her. She walked our dogs, watered our garden, looked after our property. She kept our home very clean and tidy, and did laundry before she left. We wish Agnes well in her travels and would enjoy having her stay again.

I had the privilege of having Agnes as my sitter for 3 weeks. She was absolutely awesome. Archie was so well taken care of while I was away, that he would of happily jumped in her car and gone with her when she left .. My house was immaculate on my return. I view Agnes as a friend now and my only complaint is that she is sadly not available to sit for me again in October. I would have no hesitations in recommending her and would have her back anytime ........she is an absolute gem

Unfortunately our cruise, which was to be in the Middle East, was cancelled by the Travel Agent because of the risks in that area so we did not go away. However, I very much enjoyed discussing house sitting with Agnes. We were so looking forward to having her stay at our home and look after our pets. Her communication was excellent, and hopefully we can cross paths with her in the future when we are able to have safe travels.
