The adventures of a new location and exploring opportunities with what is in the area: walking /hiking, meeting new people and simply just doing new things.

We are a mature married couple, healthy active, non smokers. We love the outdoors, being keen walkers and hikers of mountains and trails.
The last ten years have been filled with travel, mainly to Europe and have had the great joy of deepening our relationships with family and friends. During that time we have also been house/pet sitters privately and with another housesitting company.

The last ten years have been filled with travel, mainly to Europe and have had the great joy of deepening our relationships with family and friends. During that time we have also been house/pet sitters privately and with another housesitting company.
Peter and I are from New Zealand and have been members of 'Kiwi house sitters' since December 2024. We have had the privilege of looking after many homes and pets, particularly in the north of our beautiful country. We are keen to spend more time in your beautiful country, having visited it coast to coast last year for three months.
In the past we have co managed a retreat for a number of years. Our responsibilities were maintenance of the property including gardening, caring for a variety of farm animals and of course hospitality to guests. You will also see from our references that we have cared for a variety of pets and farm animals and are confident we can care for any animal that is not mentionedđŸ¦’
Having owned our own home we understand the joys, responsibilities and commitments of running and maintaining a property, so will honor and respect your home and pets as though they were ours.

Lovely couple who took good care of my dog Tilly. Tilly is reactive with other dogs, and requires confident handlers. She also has a training regime to keep her stimulated because she can't be off leash. Peter and Jill took on the responsibility and managed everything well. I came home to a calm happy dog. Also came home to an immaculate house. Highly recommend

Peter and Gillian were fantastic house sitters. We had to amend our dates significantly on 3 occasions due to family illness and flight changes out of our control. They were kind and ultimately flexible, We felt that our interests were at the forefront of their thinking. We have a big piece of land which had a lot of maintenance and mowing and despite a somewhat damp summer everything was wonderful to come home to. The house was clean and tidy and everything as we left it. Highly recommended ... MorePeter and Gillian were fantastic house sitters. Peter and Jill took great care of our 3 guinea fowl and 20 cattle while we were away. Was great to come home to clean and tidy house, weed free garden and mowed lawns. They even managed to deal with neighbours cattle getting into our avocados quickly and efficiently without any noticeable damage being done. We wish them well in their future house sitting jobs.
