I like that it combines adventure with responsibility - I get to explore new places, be spontaneous, and take part in an exchange of trust by looking after someone’s home and pets.

I use house sitting as a way to explore different parts of BC while working remotely, and I really enjoy the rhythm of settling into new places for a while. I’ve built up a lot of experience with both short and longer stays, caring for homes of all kinds, and looking after pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities, from older, more relaxed animals to younger, high-energy ones.

I grew up in a small town in the South Okanagan, but I’ve also lived abroad and spent time in different countries, which made me really comfortable adapting to new environments and routines. I naturally settle in quickly, pay attention to the details, and enjoy making a space feel calm and cared for.

Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors, either for a walk, hiking, running, or exploring wherever I am. I really value a balance between independence and connection. I’m adaptable and curious, and I love getting a feel for different communities and what makes each place unique. I genuinely enjoy the balance of being grounded in a home while also exploring.

I care about how I show up in spaces and relationships, and I approach house sitting with kindness, responsibility, and a lot of respect for people’s homes and animals!

I grew up around dogs and cats and have always been the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone to look after their pets. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and getting to know their different personalities!
