We are a Canadian and Chilean couple who recently moved to Canada who love pets and seeing new places.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

We love the freedom to explore new places, while having the company of wonderful pets and comforts of home.
We prefer staying in one spot and getting to know an area and how people live rather than running around chaotically trying to hit all the tourist traps.

Sam is a Canadian high school teacher and Paula is a Chilean information systems engineer. We currently live in Ottawa.
We are married and Paula recently moved to Canada so we are taking the opportunity to explore some of the wonderful places in this country.
We have both had cats and love pets but because we are moving so much right now as we search for our permanent home we have decided to wait until we buy a place before getting another cat.

Although we have not owned dogs Sam has taken care of many of his friends dogs, and we have both house sitted for many dogs using the Trusted housesitters app, which we also use here in Canada but used alot in Europe as well.

Pet care

We have used the trusted housesitters app for over a year now, mostly in Europe and for a couple months here in Canada. We have taken care of both cats and dogs, including with special care such as administering medicine.
