We're Shae and Derek, a Canadian couple from Vancouver Island who enjoy caring for homes and pets while exploring beautiful communities throughout BC.

We shared 14 wonderful years with our beagle and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. Whether your pets are energetic, senior, or simply happiest with a familiar routine, we adapt our care to their individual needs.

Our goal is simple: to leave you with peace of mind while you're away and happy pets to come home to.

If you're looking for additional help during your absence, Shae also offers optional Home Stewardship services, such as deeper cleaning, pet bathing, home organization, grocery restocking, and other personalized support by prior arrangement.

A list of optional Home Stewardship services is available upon request for homeowners who would like extra support while away.

We adapt to each pet’s personality and energy level, whether they need structure, patience, or a more relaxed approach.

This past winter, while living in Tulum, we also cared for pets within our local community—helping neighbours with dogs and cats during travel or busy periods. This included daily visits, feeding, companionship, and keeping pets comfortable in their own space.

We’re calm, attentive, and consistent, and we focus on making sure pets feel safe, settled, and well cared for while you’re away.

Currently have sits booked on Vancouver Island until mid July, then moving to the Okanagan for the Summer. Will be making our way back to Victoria/Duncan area mid September and planning to stay throughout the winter.
