Absolutely Love meeting all the new pets/ farm animals that we look after. Their Personalities are all so different.
We love the randomness of worldwide house sits. Checking out the local area, trying to learn the local language, hiking 🚶‍♀️ the countryside is a wonderful learning experience.

Please do not consider our location as a disadvantage. We are financially viable and whether we are travelling for 1 hour or 2 days it is not an issue for us.
We have never been late nor shall we ever let down our House Sitting hosts. We are old-fashioned enough to believe that it is important to honour our commitments..

We have had numerous overseas students living with us on a semi permanent basis, usually 3 or more years. Family & friends come regularly to tend & harvest our garden. (See garden photos)
We have an abundance of common sense practicality and respect for other people's property.
We expect and will maintain a clean environment for ourselves and all the pets in our care.
We do not waste anything, not electricity, water or food. We are always mindful of our Hosts overheads and the trust they have in us to look after and maintain their home. Which includes keeping expenses to a minimum.

Super sitters
Susan and Randell are extremely determined to be your best sitters ever. The energy and caring they bring to the sit are stellar. They were here for 6 weeks and used our right hand drive vehicle to give our dog so many hikes. Very active people, respectful and world wise. Left the house AND your vehicle in top form. Recommend this exceptional couple for ANY sit. They have a wide breadth of experience in travel and you are lucky to have them.

We arrived in Calgary on the 1st of June. We are staying in Canada for 6 +months. We have a vehicle (Honda, Pilot). We have a house sit booked in Bainesville from the 6th July for 1 month, 2 week sit in Kitchener starting 23rd August, repeat house sit in Morinville, Alberta Sept mid,2 was.

Review

We had a wonderful experience with Susan and Randell. They are very reliable and caring. They took excellent care of our home and garden and, most importantly, they provided our high energy, clever, and at times challenging Border Collie with exceptional care. They clearly communicated with us both before and during their stay. We think our home was cleaner upon our return than when we left! We would highly recommend Susan and Randell.
