Hello Homers!
My name is LEA, I'm a mid-lifer and a filmmaker.
My partner DK home cares for his aging parent.
We're profoundly grateful for respite & the opportunity to hang with your lovable pets.

Why we ❤️ house sitting?
Only one ingredient is required.
Love, is all it takes to be good humans. Animals already know who's who and what's what.
So we listen, then tell you everything you need to hear while you're away.
Plus, it's fun!

A film critic once suggested our vibe is 'quirky and charming!' You may decide for yourself, which is which?
We've never grown tired of our work; though we do sometimes require inspiration, a wee bit of adventure.
A walkabout, around the block, up a mountain or in this case a neighbourhood jaunt alongside your friendly pet. Agile and curious, we're best-mate's for your lovable beast.

Decades of multi-generational home and pet care for family, friends, and neighbours in need. E.g.; (mini-vacay, snowbirds, cottage, real estate agent/buyer home monitoring).

*DK currently provides full-time in-home care and on-going scheduled hospital transport for his aging parent in Ottawa.
LEA requests in lieu of DK availability permission for an occasional visitor (sister or friend) to be pre-approved companion for LEA by homeowner. Ty

We had a wonderful experience with Lea and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. She took excellent care of our two cats while we were away, making sure they were well looked after and administering medecine as needed. Lea's communication was outstanding throughout our trip. She regularly updated us on how the cats were doing, which gave us great peace of mind. Beyond being professional and dependable, she is also a genuinely kind and friendly person. ... Lea came to stay at our house for 4 weeks while we were on vacation. She was very good with communication, often sent updates and pictures. She’s a very nice person. A few minor let downs, nothing dramatic, but still a bit disappointing. Although we had just moved, we had left the house immaculately clean. Upon returning, we noticed the bathrooms were not cleaned, the floors had not been vacuumed. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper left in the whole house (buying a small amount for our ... My plants were a bit sad and needed watering. Minor annoyances in itself, but they do build up. One of the cats gained 0.6 pounds (which is a lot) and now needs to diet. She did water our grass everyday day as asked which is good.

Patch has learned how to open the pantry door but I didn't notice his having eaten any extra food? This is a mystery for me too as neither were fed any treats, none at all, ever. They were both shown great loving attention and play as reward, not food. I cannot account for the weight gain. It is perplexing? To your housekeeping points I opted not to launder bathroom rugs not clear if they were machine washable? I'd laundered sheets and towels but not the bath mats, my apologies. Sundries we discussed on what's app where I mentioned supply shortages and understood you were not concerned to replenish? Best

Hi , This is the secund experienc e with lea and as first time, a joy to know that Lea is at home. Clearly our dear Stanley Batman the secund :) is also having a great time. Look forward having an other opportunity. Best Sheila and Olivier

We have been delighted to get to know Lea. Our dog Stanley had clearly a great time. It was a joy having Lea at home while we were away and will be a pleasure to have her again .
