Hello, we are retired public servants and we have been working with two dog rescue groups for almost 10 years. We have also cared for cats, guinea pigs, aquariums and birds. I ride horses too.

We have travelled Europe and Norther Africa since 2012 and almost exclusively stayed in peoples homes. We have a perfect rating and reputation for being respectful and thoughful. We treat every home and animal as if they were my own, and I always feel grateful for the opportunity to help families.

Pet care

We have 20 plus years caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and horses as well as aquarium fish. I have begun learning about caring for chickens. We are willing to learn how to care for reptiles.

Helen took very good care of our cat Smudgy and dog Luna while we were away. She was careful in the house as well. Unfortunately, she locked herself out late one night while walking Luna and had to beak a small window in the front door to let herself and Luna back in. To Helen's credit, she contacted a tradesperson right away and the window was repaired. Helen covered the cost. Had it not been for this incident she would have received a 5 star rating for house care.
