We do not have pets of our own because of our lifestyle but we truly enjoy the time that we get to spend with the pets while house sitting. Also, house sitting allows us to spend time in different areas of the country as we search for a community that we would like to put down roots in.

For 17 years, in my role as facility manager, I was responsible for staffing and upkeep of an 80,000 square foot storage facility. In addition, I am a certified resident manager with experience managing a large apartment building. My wife, Pauline, was a senior manager with the BC government for 34 years.

We retired on March 28, 2024. We are non-smokers and non-drinkers in good health. We spent the first 5 months after retiring travelling across Canada and back with our travel trailer. As we ... Don’t hesitate, these two are amazing sitters! Excellent communication, punctuality, cleanliness and reliability. We arrived home to a spotless home and content, happy pets. A+. Thank you Bruce and Pauline!
We were very pleased with the house sitting of Bruce and Pauline. When we returned home our house was spotlessly clean and all bedding and linens were clean. It was like nobody had been there. They took care of snow removal while we were gone. We did not have any pets that needed caring for, but all the houseplants were well looked after in our lengthy absence. We would certainly recommend them. Thanks guys.
Bruce and Pauline are fantastic people and the communication with them was great! They agreed to sit for us almost a year before we were scheduled to leave and they stayed in touch regularly which gave us huge peace of mind. They stayed one month with our 2 kitties. They must have an extra good animal aura as our cats had no problem taking to them right away, which actually surprised me!! Pauline sent videos and pictures of them as well as updates regularly. Bruce and Pauline were great house sitters, they kept all my flowers alive, my cats treated them the same as they treat us so I felt they were very comfortable with them. My house was cleaner than when I left so I may need to get them back on a regular basis, lol. I would recommend them to others as they were excellent.
Bruce and Pauline were excellent housesitters. Due to unforseen circumstances I had to extend my planed time away and my long-term sitter was unable to extend. Bruce and Pauline did a seamless transition with the outgoing sitter and I was very happy that they stepped in to take great care of my place as well as Petie the cat. Bruce offered to do the first grass cut of the year and keep the yard looking good as I was back later than expected and couldn't do the spring clean up. Pauline was ... Great sitters. Polite, punctual and very clean. They tidied up the place tidier than we have ever had it ourselves. They took our dog for multiple walks per day and sent updates which we greatly appreciated. Thankful for their sit as it put our minds at ease that our house and dog were taken care of by these legends. Would recommend and hopefully have them back next year if timing works out.
We were thrilled with Bruce and Pauline, our pets were well cared for and we were sent photos every few days of how they were. Our home was spotless when we arrived home and the pets were missing Bruce and Pauline as they truly had a wonderful vacation as well. I would highly recommend them and hope to use them again.
Bruce and Pauline are absolute gems. The house reflected both of their caring attitudes. The dog bonded with them and was truly well cared for. We would have them back again in a minute and recommend them highly.

Don’t hesitate choosing these two to care for your pets and home. Excellent care and communication (love the pet pics and videos). Once again the pets were all happy and content when we arrived home. Thank you Bruce and Pauline!

This was our first time using a House Sitter and were slightly anxious. Pauline and Bruce were able to visit our home a week before we left, to introduce themselves to us and our dog. This, along with great communication, including pictures of the dog at parks, etc., put us at ease throughout the entire trip. Our house was as clean or cleaner than when we left, neat and tidy, including laundry completed. We highly recommend Pauline and Bruce to take care of your house and pet. ...
