Hi! My name is Samantha, and I’m a house/pet sitter from the Toronto area.

I am a huge lover of all animals and grew up with both cats and dogs. In addition to pet sitting for family and friends, I also cat sit for multiple families while travelling through New Zealand earlier this year using the sister site, Kiwi Housesitters. I am a huge lover of all animals and grew up with both cats and dogs. In addition to pet sitting for family and friends, I also cat sit for multiple families while travelling through New Zealand earlier this year using the sister site, Kiwi Housesitters. I loved the experience so much I’ve decided to continue it here!

I am relaxed, friendly, and very tidy. A bit of a homebody, I enjoy film/TV, reading, yoga, hiking, swimming, cooking (and drinking far too much coffee).

I am truly a (not crazy) cat lady at heart. I very much enjoy learning and indulging in the unique needs, personalities, and curiosities of every cat I meet... From the skittish and aloof who need extra time and space before deciding I’m (trust)worthy, to the cuddly, demanding, and playful ones who require your attention the moment they desire it, I have a knack for gaining the very honourable status of “acceptable human” to them all.

I have my own vehicle and can work from home!

Samantha did a wonderful job taking care of our cat Sol. Very clear communication, the house was left very clean and Sol in a great mood. Highly recommend having her sit for you if you have the chance.
We are considering contacting Sam again if we have to leave our cat and go out ever again. I think this line should tell everyone about our feedback of her. Sam took great care of not only our cat but also our house. We came back after a week long trip to India(yes, big timezone changes twice) and were pleasantly surprised to find the house all clean. We could rest properly for a couple of days.

This is the second time that Samantha has stayed with Cairo and Nori while I've been away. She left my place spick and span, and the cats seemed totally at ease which means they were well taken care of and loved on. I will definitely reach out to her again, the next time I'm going to be away. Thx Samantha :)
I had Samantha house sit while I was away for the week and I am so glad that she stayed with my boys. They are both on medication and she followed instructions perfectly - anything she needed to know, she reached out immediately for clarification. She sent me regular updates while I was away, which I really appreciated especially since the boys are older and it can be worrisome while away from them. When I got home my place was clean and organized. The boys were both happy and bouncing around ... Samantha was an amazing housesitter. She took excellent care of our 2 cats and left our home spotless. She provided timely and reassuring updates on the cats so we had no worries while we travelled. We highly recommend Samantha and hope to have her housesit again.

I had a not-so-great experience with a previous sitter a while back, and was quite apprehensive about trying it out again. And Samantha was great from start to finish with putting me at ease. My cats were having some minor health issues that required a bit of extra attention, and Samantha (gratefully) was fine with that. She communicated well. And I got back shortly before she left, and was able to see first hand, Cairo following her around with hearts popping out of his eyes! And she left my ... It is alwasys a bit strange opening up your home and trusting your beloved pets with a stranger; but we needn't have worried with Samantha. She looked after Parker so well with lovely photos sent and updates on his whereabouts! We were pleased we could meet her on our arrival home and she was as lovely in person as we thought she would be. We'd definitely recommend her to other sitters.
