I am a former care taker and explorer.
I lead a backpacking /walk the Earth life for 15 years than praticed holistic therapy for another 15.

An accident in 2017 put an end to all that.

I am currently reoganising my life to fufllfill a great need for stability and calm nesting.

I deeply cherish silence, quiet surroudings and a low pace day by day, balancing rest and activity; harmonizing the hermit and adventurer in me.

I love/neeeeed! silence and the beauty of nature all around me.

This always has been but even more so since the accident, now that I have challenges with sensory overload and data/langage processing.


I had plenty of experiences housesitting and pet sitting during my travels and therapist days.

I love animals. They bring so much joy just by being themselves.
I appreciate the relationship and the bound we can create and built together.

I was born and grew up on a farm,

Later, I stayed in small and bigger cities for various periods of time but I mainly lived in the boonies of unceaded northern territories since my early twenties.
It's where I feel home.

I am currently in a transitionnal space, wondering between the north and the sea.

So if you need a sitter for your furry/feathery/scaly friends, plants and gardens, maybe I can be of assistance.

It's always a pleasure to take care of loved ones and the safe space of your home while you are away.

Pet care

I have taking care of sleddogs ( from one old retired husky lead to 200 dogs of all ages )

Pet sat many times for a couples of days to a couple of months.
Mostly dogs, cats and chickens.

Pet sat many times for a couples of days to a couple of months.
Mostly dogs, cats and chickens.

I'm naturally a "cat person" and I appreciate all animals ;)

At this stage of my life, I can take care of pets that are low maintenance and secure.

For exemple, an anxious cat that miaaawws a lot or a nervous dog that needs constant attention or barks at nothing and everything is too much for me to handle since I am sensitive to sound ( it can be quite painful sometimes)
and intense attention seeking behaviors, highly consumming.

This said, any calm, cool, affectionnate and well-cared for animal friend is a joy to share life with.

I also tend to plants and gardens with attentive care.

Gabrielle was like a ray of sunshine, very loving and caring. Her texts often made me chuckle. I am so glad we got to know her and it was great to be able to leave our animals knowing they were well cared for! We would have her house sit for us again in a heartbeat.
