After over 40 years of working, I am enjoying the freedom of retired life but I’m still active. I would say that I’m a very happy and contented person quite settled in my ways but always open to new ideas and change. I like to go for walks if weather permits it and I read a lot, thrillers and crime are my favourites. I also like to watch TV and visit places of interest. I’m a non-smoker and non-drinker. Love to travel and think this is an exciting opportunity to travel to new places and meet new people and pets. I've been travelling around Canada and Europe over the past 40 years. Recently, I started staying in Airbnb's and I always leave the homes I stay in neat and tidy.

When I was growing up, my family always had cats and I owned cats when I started living on my own. In the past, I have looked after my sister's cat and some of my friends' cats as well as taking care of their homes while they were away. I do not have a vehicle so I can only accept house sit jobs in cities with good public transportation. I prefer to look after pets in apartments and homes with few stairs.
