Our home

two bedroom , one den, apartment in a small apartment building with security doors.
1 Cat (16yrs) and friendly and healthy
only required to medicate the cat every second day with a transdermal steroid (inside of ear)
feed cat once per day
water various plants once per week
parking can be made available (as of now a fee of $45 per month)
situated with a view of a lake and in a popular newer area of Bedford, Nova Scotia
small hiking trails in close proximity

I just completed a beautiful stay with Prissy in Bedford. The apartment views over Lake Kearney, the gym, the proximity of places I wanted to visit, and the loving affection of your little purr machine. Thank you Tom and Colleen for trusting me with your beautiful home and furbaby.
I had a wonderful winter with Prissy in Bedford. Colleen and Tom were great communicators and the condo is comfy, warm and bright with a gorgeous lake view. It was a novelty for me to be up six floors but a great vantage point to watch my first east coast winter (and what a winter it was!) Prissy is just the loveliest of cats, great company, always on my lap. I was very happy that despite her allergies (that meant she needed a steroid), she was in perfect health the entire time, very playful ... MoreI had a wonderful winter with Prissy in Bedford. I will add - in my experience, having a car is very helpful but there are trails and a grocery store nearby you could walk to and there is a bus stop right out front so it would be doable without a car, depending on what you need.

We had a wonderful 2.5 months stay caring for Prissy. The location was fantastic and we loved the peaceful lake view. Prissy’s cuddles made our time there even sweeter. Communication with Tom & Colleen was efficient throughout, and everything was smooth from start to finish. We’d happily stay again!
This 7-week cat sit was just a delight. Colleen was reasonable in her expectations, and communicated frequently and with pertinent information. She left a detailed booklet about their charming and affectionate cat. Colleen's home was very comfortable and in a safe neighbourhood next to public transit and amenities. I would happily sit for Colleen again.
