Our home

Main house has two bedrooms and a loft, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, inside house is one office space. Another building is a detached office. Wifi throughout. This is a beautiful area with endless forest walks, including a 7 minute walk to beach and a ten minute walk to the Main Street of Deep Cove with multiple shops and restaurants. This is a great place for any retreat if that is what you are looking for. It is also very close to Vancouver (25 minute drive)

favoriteWhat we love about our area

Forest, beach, quiet, birds, little traffic, also close to mountain, not to mention the extraordinary garden (previous owners- but we keep it alive:) An amazing place to work from home or catch up on reading, or work on projects. We love hiking and kayaking from our house. Also, easy to get to city.

1 very easy going 12 year old fluffy Siberian, 1 adorable energetic 1 year old fluffy Siberian, need to be fed, company, brought indoors before dusk (they go out at around 9am and will come home frequently (old cat will seldom go any where), no problem); an outdoor pond of fish that just need food sprinkled occasionally; this is an idyllic property with extraordinary garden, like a retreat with a detached office

Average - No lawn mowing, but watering every 3-4 days if it is hot and not raining. Involves moving sprinkler around in the morning and some hand watering of pots.

Had a wonderful time sitting for Leslie. Fell in love with Lola , Fritz & Deep Cove. Their home is charming, their yard so beautiful like mini Butchart Gardens. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch with Fritz the view very peaceful & tending to the garden. House is in a fab location within walking distance to beautiful Strathcona Beach where I walked and ocean dipped almost daily, it’s short walk into the Cove for Yummy lattes & baked goods with variety of cafes & restaurants, also quick 20 ... Plenty of hikes & drives including the famous Quarry Rock, or just sit by the ocean. Great communication with Leslie if I had any questions or concerns. Met some beautiful new friends as well during my stay. A very nice sit missing Fritz & Lola and would be happy to sit again🙂
