Our home

Our 3 bedroom house has been extensively renovated with a modern kitchen and bathroom with walk-in shower. Telus High speed internet, 2 flat screen TVs with Netflix, ACORN, Tubi apps. There are a small number of indoor plants to water in piano room. Corner lot so will require mowing lawn in September/October. Bright cheery house. Quiet neighbourhood close to public transit, grocery stores, library. Only 15+ minutes to downtown. Double driveway for parking. Daily Globe and Mail subscription.

I always enjoy housesitting for Blair & Guy as their home is very organized and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting my family and easy to get around. Communication is always easy, respectful and gracious. Even in the midst of an unfortunate mishap on my part, their generosity in quickly making contact with the right contractor to resolve the situation was very much appreciated. Their home is easy to maintain and the details of accommodation are clear to follow.🏵️

This was my second sit for Blair & Guy and it was as good as the first except for the unexpected emergency circumstances that brought them back home sooner than the booked 10 weeks. They were very accommodating when I had to leave a few things behind to pick up later. They are a wonderful couple and we can talk for hours so our communications were always open, direct, and easy to follow. Their house is organized, tidy & clean, and easy to maintain. Basically, just bringing in mail, watering ... They were very accommodating when I had to leave a few things behind to pick up later. They are a wonderful couple and we can talk for hours so our communications were always open, direct, and easy to follow. Their house is organized, tidy & clean, and easy to maintain. Basically, just bringing in mail, watering their indoor plants, and snow removal during this period. I would not hesitate to sit for them again, if I'm available, as their location offers me many opportunities conducive to my lifestyle.

It was a pleasure to meet and interview Blair & Guy in their well maintained home. An easy transition as they left on their trip away with a detailed list for home and house plant care, as well as contacts for emergencies. I enjoyed the friendly and safe neighbourhood and being able to freely use my time there to visit family that needed my presence. Communication throughout was very timely and easy going. Even with them providing for their neighbourhood Halloween trick o' treaters in their absence - it was quite fun. Yardcare was a breeze, literally, with the seasonal falling leaves which was a lot but easy to tackle given their tips and tricks for easy gathering. Seasonal snow removal was easy to maintain with tools provided. The time seemed to go so quickly. Would return if needed.

The garden was beautiful, lawn wover and gardening tools made it easier for us to maintain the weeds grows, we got free raspberries for us to enjoy during the second portion of our sit which was a great bonus. The house is lovely, but it took us over a week to get rid of a distinct odor, during the hot season the temperature fluctuated between 29,5 °C (at night) to 31,5 °C during the day without AC system and no portable fans available. Blair and Guy communicated clearly about their ...
