Ozzy's main challenge is during walks. He becomes extremely excited when he sees other dogs and can be quite strong. For this reason, we are looking for someone with experience handling larger, energetic dogs and managing leash reactivity. He is walked using a prong collar, so applicants should be comfortable and experienced using this type of training equipment.
Aside from his excitement around other dogs, Ozzy is affectionate, well-behaved indoors, and enjoys spending time with people.

Alaska may require daily oral medication for an ongoing medical condition called perianal fistula, which affects the area around the anal glands. She occasionally wears a protective collar to prevent licking while the condition heals. We are hopeful that her condition will be fully under control before our trip, but we want potential sitters to be aware that some basic medication administration may be required.

Daily Care:
The dogs have a simple routine and are generally easy to care for.
Responsibilities include:
-Feeding twice daily
-Daily walks 45-60mins total for the day
-Fresh water and companionship
-Administering medication to

-Basic monitoring of Alaska's condition if necessary and daily oral medication if still required

Both dogs are comfortable being left alone for up to approximately six hours when needed.
