68, Retired

I grew up on a dairy farm .
I worked at a Psychiatric Hospital as a Recreation Therapist, Trained in College as a Fitness Instructor.
I worked Concurrently in the Reserves as an Infantry Officer, achieving the rank of Major, I was a Senior Infantry Officer and the Deputy Commanding Officer of our Regiment when I retired !
I volunteered for Bosnia, was chosen to join a Special Operations Group, Deployed for 7 months and on my return continued to train others as Liaison Officers for. 10 yrs
I am very active, love to hike, bike, camp and kayak ! I toured the Eastern Provinces for 7 months last spring / summer into early fall !
I continue to weight train, use the rowing ergometer, whenever possible ! I was involved in Dragon Boat Racing and qualified for two World Championships with my crew, the first in 2020 in France ( cancelled due to COVID ) and the second in Sarasota Florida, I had to withdraw due to severe abdominal hernia in 2022 !
I also reached the National / International rifle / sniper rifle Competition Level at CF SAC in 2003 at Connaught Rifle Range, outside Ottawa. The Canadian Forces Small Arms Competition with additional International teams involved. Regular and Reserve Units with our Canadian Rangers (North).
I Love to travel, love to visit new locations across our great Provinces ! Whether hiking a trail, paddling a pristine lake/ river, sitting in a great coffee shop, or relaxing in a quaint little library somewhere. I’ve got LOTS of stories, love to be around animals, and I’m very much a people Person ! Contact me, and I’ll ensure your home and pets are Well Taken Care of ! Kevin

Kevin is an amazing sitter! I truly appreciated his patience with one of my dogs, who needed a little extra time to feel comfortable going on a walk. He left my home clean and well-organized, and his communication about the dogs and any concerns was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Kevin for all your home and pet sitting needs!

Kevin sent a message the first week stating that the dishwasher was broken and he was washing dishes by hand...this was the last time I would hear from him. He broke a cupboard door and a mug, left sticky messes in cupboards and counters but worst of all the dishwasher would not work because he jammed it so full the trays would not go in all the way. So he left all his dirty dishes (which were not rinsed off) with caked on food for a month in the dishwasher for me to clean when I got home! He ... MORE

Total BS ! In fact the bathroom, was cleaned thoroughly when I left, as was the stove. As for the dishwasher, I rinsed everything before putting in, it wasn’t packed ! Kevin was a sincere pleasure from the moment we met him. More importantly, our dog Karma, felt the absolute same!! Kevin is a gentleman in every aspect we came to quickly know, and we couldn't have been more pleased for him taking care of Karma...and enjoying our home while doing so. If you’re looking for a good and reliable petsitter, you won't be disappointed with Kevin. My dog Tal enjoyed his time with Kevin who took good care of him. House was in good shape. Communication was smooth, If Kevin is available, I will re-use his services with great pleasure.

Kevin is the most reliable, most professional housesitter we have ever had the pleasure of inviting into our home. We returned to a spotless place, the dogs were happy and healthy, he was always in touch, and we never once were concerned about being far from home. Kevin took excellent care of bandit (the dog) and mango (the cat). Bandit can be quite needy re care he needs while I am away and Kevin took excellent care of him. He was great at communicating with me and keeping me in the loop and took great care of the house while I was away. I would highly recommend Kevin for house and pet sits. Kevin was great getting to know you and thank you again for taking such great care of the animals and the house.
