Hello!

I am a very calm, outdoorsy, healthy, non-smoker, resourceful, respectful and reliable mature man. I had the privilege of sharing 12 years of my life with an exceptional Short Hair Pointer, often took care of my friend's pets. and had amazing wildlife encounters.

I am comfortable with any kind of maintenance work around a house and can easily connect with animals.

I am currently house sitting near Nanaimo until January 17th.

Alain was wonderful with our four legged and two legged animals. He learned how to milk our two does and got along well with the billy and kids. He even counted the chickens at night time! Our dog went on some great hikes and even the cat didn't disappear (she usually hides when we are gone). Our home was well taken care off, Alain even made us dinner after we arrived home! We highly recommend Alain to take care of your creatures and home.

We were at ease having Alain at our house while we were away on a two week trip out of country. It was important for him that he met us in person beforehand to be sure it was a right fit for everyone. His communication was impeccable, even sending the occasional picture of his time with our animals, especially the chickens. We highly recommend Alain and would have him back in a heart beat.

Alain was an absolute pleasure to have care for our farm. He was a great chicken tender to our 100+ ladies., ducks and even the evil goose! Alain took great care of my three pups and my house and property. I have one very timid dog who takes a long time to trust strangers. Alain was very committed to earning her trust and she warmed up to him very quickly...which is rare. Alain had an excellent, patient manner with my dogs, brought them on great walks and gave them lots of love while I was away. He also took great care of my house and even stacked my firewood! Alain answered very quickly to my request which was last minute. We talked over the phone which I appreciated and made me feel at ease. He was ponctual and reliable. He always answered in a timely fashion to my texts. When we came back, we found the cat totally relaxed and the house perfectly clean and tidy. I recommend Alain without hesitation.
