**FULLY VACCINATED**

Recent ex-empty nesters with only one cat at home (apart from the 2 adult children!) we will care for your pet(s) and look after your home as if they were our own! We enjoy light gardening and lawn work, walking dogs, playing with cats, and love new experiences.

We've vacationed or travelled all through Canada and lived in all the varying climates our beautiful country offers. Now we're ready to get to know the "locals" in some of those places!!

We're hoping that housesitting will allow us to give you the luxury of getting away from home for awhile, without the worry of what you've left behind. We are prompt, reliable, and will communicate with you as frequently as you wish during our stay, to give you peace of mind while you're away from your home and pet(s).

Gerry still works full-time, so Jacquie is doing primarily solo sits for now if the sit isn't within commuting distance of Ottawa. But we are definitely interested in taking vacation time to do some more distant sits, and retirement is coming...and with it, the excitement of venturing further afield.

Rest assured that with us, you're leaving your babies and belongings "in good hands."

1. I generally charge for sits in Ottawa and surrounding area. Rates can be seen on my website; search for Who Rules Your Roost.

2. While willing to go anywhere, please remember that Jacquie plans to avoid the snow & cold of the winter months, so she will be looking for sits in sunny, warm climates for the winter months.
