over 50, 30+ yrs Law Clerk - early retired

Just recently retired after many years in the legal field (Civil, Family, Estate Law, and other aspects) both in Ontario and in British Columbia with Legal Aid. Recently sold my house and want to explore the world now that my children are grown and have their own families. I have always wanted to travel and this is an avenue to experience the world.
I am very outdoorsy, love hiking and cycling, having backpacked/camped solo - went backpacking in Ecuador a couple of years ago with my daughter. - travelled across Canada both ways - with the exception of Newfoundland (on the bucket list!).
We have always had animals in the house whether as a kid growing up or in my married life family and have been very fortunate that our animals have always had a 'good and long life" and enjoyed their friendship and snuggles. - exercising with daily walks - come rain or shine!
One of my passions is gardening. I enjoy the spring surprises as life begins in the garden. Perennials, annuals, bi-annuals they all play a part in creation of your garden.
Fully vaccinated - non-smoker.

Rosemary took great care of our 13-year old husky Blazer. We were away for 5 weeks and Rosemary was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The regular communication was terrific (texts and videos) and our dog (and our house) were extremely well looked after. I am certain that our dog misses Rosemary now that she has left. We had no concerns the entire time that we were away and Rosemary even accommodated our last minute scheduling change. We would highly recommend Rosemary - very trustworthy ... MORE

Rosemary was a great house and pet sitter for our cat and dog. She sent regular photos and videos and we could see that the dog was getting good walks. The house was clean and tidy when we returned home. Rosemary was reliable and friendly - highly recommend trusting her with your home and pets!

Rosemary did a wonderful job of looking after Freo (our dog), our house and our plants. She took Freo on all kinds of adventures and he seemed to really enjoy his time with her. She was so good at communicating with us about any concerns that she had. She sent us wonderful photos and videos of her adventures with Freo which was so great. Freo looked so happy and content. Rosemary was brilliant, took great care of the house and the creatures. She loved them up and they loved her right back. She sent the photos and videos of their walks - including the cat following along as she was walking the dog around the neighbourhood, to the delightof the neighbours. I have recommended her to family members and would happily have her come to housesit again.
