Hello,
We are a caring couple who enjoy the benefits of working from home, Angela as a Virtual Assistant and Nick as a Financial Professional. We are grateful to have the ability to be flexible with where we choose to spend our time, it has been such an asset to us.
As a couple, we have been travelling and house-sitting together since mid January 2023 - after spending 2.5 months in the Dominican. We plan to continue our house-sitting adventures well into 2024!
Angela has two years of combined house/plant/pet sitting experience where she's successfully looked after dogs, cats, chickens, horses, plants and homes. She has loved owning numerous pets over the years (total of 8+ years) including cats, dogs, fish and horses. She also grew up on a small hobby farm in Northern Ontario where they owned an array of animals including horses, reptiles, rodents, dogs, cats, birds and other farm animals. Angela enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
Nick is newer to the house-sitting community, however not new to caring for a home. Having held the lease on a home rental and bringing friends in to live with him, he's learned the ropes of maintaining cleanliness and respecting his, and others, space. Having worked as a general contractor for 5+ years he has the advantage of knowing the inner workings of a home and if things aren't functioning the way they should (and perhaps even how to fix them!). Nick has enjoyed the company of his families cats and dogs, taking care of them periodically and giving them all the love they need! As a co-owner of a pet food business, specializing in fresh meats for cats and dogs, he knows and understands the value of maintaining a pets specialized diet and ensuring their routine is maintained.

Angela and Nick were wonderful. A few house issues came up, and they dealt easily with them.
They have strong communication, and problem solving skills.
Our 2 kitties were lovingly taken care of.
We arrived back to a clean home and happy cats.
I highly recommend them.
Angela and Nicholas have house sit for me from Sept 26 to Oct 27 & from Nov 15 to 29. They took really good care of my lovable parti-colour poodle, Whipette. Bringing her to her furry friends at the off-leash park every day. They took very good care of the house, inside plants and have no doubts they would have taken care of the garden as necessary. After our zoom call, I was excited to meet Angela and Nick. We spent dinner together before I left and I knew that all would be fine. They communicated in the timing I asked and had my cat Finnigan under their spell. They are very happy and positive people. When I returned, the house was clean and the cat was content. I highly recommend them as reliable pet sitters. Maybe they will come back some time in the future
Angela and Nick were simply AMAZING to our dogs! We found the dogs happy and the house impeccably clean. Angela was really kind to send me daily updates, and my heart was in peace every time I received a message from her. She was very attentive to all of our instructions, specially because one of our dogs needed to take a medication twice a day. They handled it really well, and I can't recommend them enough. We can't recommend Angela & Nick enough! This was totally new for us (having strangers house sit), and they were completely genuine and trustworthy right from the start. We got to know them well through video chat and felt confident that our cats and home would be in good hands. And they were! Angela & NIck sent us daily update messages with pics so that we could see how the kittens were doing... those pics showed us how relaxed and chilled out our cats were, getting lots of pets, love and ... I totally recommend Angela and Nick as pet sitters. This couple has great communication skills, very open, and responsible. They were caring for my Devon Rex Maya for 2 weeks, and she was content and well-fed while I was away. They even took her for a walk(s) around the apartment building as she is trained to walk on a leash. The guys sent me updates and photos with Maya every day.
Absolutely a fantastic couple as Angela is very knowledgeable regarding horses and Nick is her faithful helping sidekick! They communicated to us very often as they knew we were very worried as our 2 thoroughbred girls were relatively new off the track. Couldn't ask for better care as they truly loved them like we do and continued to do the daily chores the same way we do. We have a large house and they did fairly well keeping up with the cleanliness. Would highly recommend them!
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
