Does she have experience looking after the house and pets?
You bet! I was a manager in the hospitality industry where a clean house and attention to detail is extremely important. For many years I was on the board of a housing co-op and dealt with planning, maintenance, and repairs.
Friends and family have entrusted the care of their pets to me. I stayed at their home or their pet stayed with me.
I will leave your house in the same state as it was when you left.

Is she trustworthy?
The local bank and the clients trusted me! I worked for over 15 years for a large Canadian bank, had to be bond-able to work at a bank. I also appreciate the importance of privacy.

Can I trust her with my pets?
Yes, I have experience.I have owned a few dogs during my life from small to larger size, and cats too. I have been a relief dog sitter for the local Autism Dog Service group for many years. Usually larger dogs.
While on a dog sitting assignment I had to nurse a miniature Poodle after two major and serious operations, never knowing if she would survive, administering medications every few hours for several weeks. I hadn't exactly signed up for that, but this sweet dog was not going to die on my watch. She has completely recovered and is again a happy and healthy dog.

Why would she want to do this?
I love to experience new places from a resident's perspective and explore. What better way to do that then walking your dog?
House sitting is a great way of slow and sustainable travel, explore and help out with house-and pet-sitting so that you can travel without worries.

A few more things about me:
I am a healthy senior living an active lifestyle. A lifelong cyclist, was on the executive of a local cycling club. I like taking long walks and I am perfectly content spending time at home reading and listening to music, also guilty of some binge watching of Netflix. Non-smoker.
Valid D/L, clean driving record. Police check? Done.
