Semi-retired, holistic practitioner (reflexologist, reiki, cupping).
I'm currently living in Haliburton in a rental while I wait for my place to be built, currently dealing w permits then we start the build.
I'm an avid gardener and love being outside. I tend to do 2 or 3 walks a day 40-60min so your dogs walks can be tailored to their needs.
I drive so if any vet appts or grooming is required I have that covered but that also means I require parking.
I do charge a fee depending on number of animals, length of stay and chores required - ie snow removal, gardening beyond basic water plants etc. Feel free to message and we can discuss how I can help your family enjoy the time away, knowing the rest of your family is being loved and cared for!

We've had Melanie housesit for us twice over the last year. After meeting and working out what was required for our cats Darla & Manny we felt confident our home and pets would be in good hands. Darla is on medication & we require different food to be offered to each cat. Melanie was organized and followed the calendar carefully for medication. We had great confidence that our cat, our garden and our home were being very well cared for while we were away and Melanie was here. She kept us updated on a regular basis with how everything was going and how well she was connecting with our cat, Otie. Of course we were delighted she enjoyed being here and enjoyed the area a bit as well. We're happy to give her a top-notch review. What a great person she is.

I'm incredibly grateful for Melanie. I have had to spend a significant time away from my home and 2 dogs (Cavachon & Rottweiler) on several occasions over the past year. My dogs adore Melanie. She has taken such great care of them, as well as my ducks and my home, Melanie is very communicative, I've never had to worry about my dog's wellbeing under her care. I highly recommend Melanie, and think she is incredibly kind, caring and responsible. I adore her!
