We're Julia & Kevin, retired, love travelling & new experiences. We sold our 3500 sq. ft custom home (built by Kevin) & retired to travel & spend more time with family. We were business owners & caregivers. We like routine & an organized clean home! We house sat for 5 months the winter of 2021 then were excited to find Housesitters Canada in 2022...a service that connects pet owners with pet loving & trusted house sitters is brilliant! We owe it to our 4 legged family members to make sure their lives are as happy and comfortable as they can possibly be. We know how important schedules are for pets so will follow their routines.
We are amazing pet lovers however our son married a girl who is allergic so when our Irish Setter Keelyn passed we didn't get another pet. We love cats too & have had a few to cuddle over the years.
We have also had an in ground pool, don't smoke & after 42 years of marriage have had a lot of life experiences!
We would be very happy to care for your fur babies & your home while you catch up on some overdue travel!

Our measure of a great house sitter is how easily our 2 cats transition from us to the house sitter and how relaxed they are when we return. Julia and Kevin obviously were attentive and loving with Max and Malorie. Our house was well taken care of. Lots of updates via text while we were gone. Julia and Kevin care and it shows.

Julia and her husband Kevin looked after our two cats for a week over the Christmas holidays. They were excellent! They were great communicators before, duirng, and after the sit and were super flexible and kind when we were dealing with some last minute stress due to frozen plumbing on the day we were leaving for our trip. They were very detail-oriented and checked any cat care details that they were unsure about with us, along with sending us daily updates and photos of our two kitties. One ... MORE
