Retired, kind, resourceful and energetic woman available to sit your home and tend to pets, plants and even bee hives. I can also maintain your garden and lawn and in winter do basic snow removal. I am definitely an animal and nature buff! Solo owner of a large home and three rescue cats (my German shepherd dog has sadly gone to the kennel in the sky), I have 20+ years of experience in home and yard maintenance and pet care and have had many successful housesits in Canada as well as an international sit and repeat requests from satisfied owners and happy pets! I will keep your home spotless and tidy and stay in touch with you regularly during my sit. Technically minded and smart, I can make small repairs to your home if an urgent case should arise during my stay. Also really good at pool maintenance! Well travelled, non-smoker, quiet, tidy person, and absolutely no substance abuse. Your neighbours will appreciate my respectful lifestyle. Je parle aussi francais. Ich spreche auch Deutsch. Carolina was a fantastic pet sitter! She displays a kind and calm nature, and we could feel her love of animals the moment she walked into our house. She connected right away with all of our animals, even with our cat Willow who is quite shy and normally runs away in the presence of strangers. Carolina kept in touch with us daily, and she was attentive to all of our animals, making suggestions when needed to ensure their well-being. Carolina came to us a house sitter and left as a friend. She treated our home with respect and provided updates on a regular basis. She even did some gardening for us. What a bonus. Our dogs loved her and even now, visit her bedroom. We would have no hesitation recommending Carolina to sit your home and fur babies.

Poor Carolina... I had to cancel this sit at the last minute because one of my cats got sick. I cannot comment on my experience of her sitting for me, but I can say that up to the very last minute, Carolina was an excellent communicator. She is obviously knowledgeable, responsible, and considerate. I regret having to cancel on her, but she was equally thoughtful and flexible in her response to my change in plans. Carolina were an excellent house sitter. Her presence in our home and her quiet, calm and friendly feature allowed us to relax while away. Our 2 Doberman and 2 cats were well looked after and she also took the dogs for daily walks. We received everyday updates and came home to a spotless Clean house. she also took care of our plants too without asking. Carolina was the best house and cat sitter I could imagine. She developed a relationship with my cat who is very social and affectionate for which I am extremely grateful. In addition to having a healthy, happy cat when I returned, Carolina checked in with me often and fixed a number of things that needed a little tweaking…like my cupboard door closing, my green house door sliding and she even pruned my tree. We loved Carolina, she is great! It was a long stay and she helped us so much, specially because we had to come back home much later than expected. Our dog Katrina looked very happy when we got back and actually wanted to leave with her! She also took such good care of our house, everything was super clean and well taken care of! Carolina is a very generous, loving person and it was a pleasure meeting her! Would definitely recommend and hope she could be our house/dog sitter again soon!

Carolina was a fantastic house sitter. She returned the house to me in the same or better condition than she received it. It was very clean upon my return and she even fixed an issue with my spa while I was away that I'd been struggling to solve. Her communication was clear and prompt, any issues she came across were quickly brought up to get clarification and resolution.
