Single49, ESL teacher/meditation teacher
HI! I'm currently teaching ESL online and I also teach a meditation practice. These both allow me to travel and see new places. I've been house sitting since 2019 and have grown to love it. I enjoy getting to know each and every furry friend and having their company. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, chickens and a hawk. Duties have included feeding, walks, cleaning, medication, playtime and lots of cuddles. I also provide care and responsibility to the home and keep in regular communciation. Surya is a very sweet gentle person which was the perfect caregiver for our pets. It is always a little stressful to leave, particularly our cat. Upon our return both our pets Lulu (black lab) and Bella (cat) clearly did not seem to have missed us! That is a testament to us as they were clearly very well cared for. We would definitely book with Surya again.
Surya was wonderful to work with. She came to help in a pass-over (I was not home). Great, detailed communication before and during this sit which was very much needed this time. One of my labs got very ill (!) and Surya was a star - getting to the vet, administering the medication, AND cleaning up after a very sick dog (is just gross). Also, my home is on the market to sell and Surya worked with my realtor for showings. Five stars!
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
