I am an active solo retired secondary school teacher, mother of 2 adult sons. Recently moved to mountains of Invermere Fairmont Hot Springs area of British Columbia to enjoy outdoor activities.

I have been a pet parent for the majority of my adult life and as a child lived with family pets in a farm environment, included dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, fish, birds and have enjoyed being part of that environment. I am capable of caring for your family pets and treat them with care and enjoyment while you travel.


I have owned homes for over 40 years, taking care of light maintenance is usually acceptable but requires prior discussion.
I will leave your home as you left it and any details you request should be left in written notes ,with all emergency contacts which is discussed before I confirm.


I am a non-smoker neat and tidy I appreciate cleanliness. I am a licensed driver with over 40 years experience with zero accidents.
I lead a very active lifestyle, which includes sailing, travelling golfing, pickleball ,yoga, skiing, curling ,hiking , biking, swimming and all water sports, as well as interest in exploring local sites and cultural activities.

I have travelled extensively in Canada, lived in Europe, and grew up in Scotland. I just completed two years sailing in the Caribbean and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe and Morocco.
I returned to Turkey in July-Aug 2023 , for my second trip to repeat clients to look after Patches the Catamaran cat ! so travel is no issue for me as long as I have the necessary transportation available at the home for necessities.

Recently I was house/pet sitting Nov /Dec,2023 for repeat clients in coastal Sooke BC, for Rio, their Indian Ring neck.parrot who cannot travel out of country !
Presently House sitting in Ontario Jan 2024 - May 2024 for 2 seperate clients for over 3 months looking after one Mini Schauzer Marlene and two cats Gideon and Ghost !

I love being in a natural environment, especially coastal and waterfront areas or properties, and participating in local activities.
Just completed house sit in Daylan Turkey for a month, followed by travels to Greece ,Switzerland and Germany ,so travel is enjoyed if your home is comfortable and arrangements are communicated clearly for both parties.

My sons and family live in Kootenay area of Canmore BC and Ont , both are animal lovers. and live a sports lifestyle.
