Hello Home Owners
Here I am starting my new path down the retirement trail from thirty years in the special education field.
After many years of house, dog, horses tending garden and yes
even chickens for my friends and neighbours give me the skills to join Canadian house sitters.
This would give me the opportunity to discover more of Ontario while taking care of your home and pets.
I send my days in the great outdoors all seasons, hiking canoeing and gardening.
I've had my pets over my years. My last dog Lola I had for 18 years she was my perfect partner.
I'm a very calm, kind, loving,patient, organized, handy person who would love to take care of your home, gardens, pool and pets while your away.
I can also provide reference.

Linda did a wonderful job with our dog. She was communicative, prompt and very pleasant. Linda sent a few pictures and Mackay seemed very content. Our house was clean and tidy on our return and we’ve already booked her for another housesit! Highly recommended!
Prompt and friendly
Linda took great care of my two cats so I could get away on holidays. She cared about them as I would so I had peace of mind leaving them for the two weeks.
We consider our selves incredibly lucky to have found Linda to house sit for us and care for our precious kitty. Linda watered our many house plants and kitty was clearly well cared for. Linda was very caring and attentive to our dog and cat while she enjoyed staying in our house out in the country for a one-week stay. . She sent us messages and photos everyday about how our two pets were doing. We could tell upon our return that they responded very well to her so we were very pleased and relieved that we had left them in such good hands. Linda was our first experience with a house sitter and she was fantastic. We have a expansive rural property, gardens, pool and lawn and everything was so well looked after. In a nutshell, we look forward to Linda returning next summer and potentially at other times when we take vacations. Linda was our house/pet sitter on our weekend away for our two Australian Shepherds a 12-year-old and a 6 month old puppy and two cats. We felt relaxed knowing that our pets were in good hands. She took our dogs on regular walks, in the field and back to the wooded area and our dogs had a great time. She paid special attention to the puppy. We received updates and pictures from her during our trip. Highly recommend Linda as a house/pet sitter!
Linda stayed with our four pets for a week, and we were very happy with how everything went! She was great at communicating before, during and after. Our pets seemed happy when we got home, which is a good indication that they were well taken care of while we were away. We'd be happy to have Linda stay with our pets again in the future :)
