Hi! I’m a middle-aged federal bureaucrat originally from Winnipeg, but living in Ottawa for the past 30 years. I’m just looking for a change of pace, mini-vacation, while enjoying time with pets and helping people out while they are away. I’m currently looking at places in Montreal, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Toronto for short stays.
While I would be pet-sitting alone, I have had 6 dogs in my lifetime, and I currently own a 6-year-old Cane Corso. She’s a big, slobbery, lazy oaf of a dog. As for cats, I haven’t owned one since childhood, but I grew up cat-sitting for neighbours and I also cat/dog sit for my sister often. As for plants, I definitely don’t have a green thumb, but I don’t think there have been any plant deaths under my watch. My interests are cycling, crosswords, listening to music, art galleries, indie films and finding sunny patios for nachos and seedy taverns for cold beer. Je parle français aussi.
