Hi!
I'm a hard working and active person from Vancouver, BC. I've always had pets (e.g. reptiles, amphibians, fishes, spiders, horses, cats, dogs) worked with animals (e.g. horses, marine mammals, fishes), and looked after my friends and family's pets while they've been away. I truly enjoy the opportunity to pet sit or spend time on the farm. I've looked after 100+ dogs in total through platforms including Rover, Aussie Housesitters, Madpaws, and Trusted Housesitters.
If you want to go away and enjoy time out, you can be reassured that I'll carefully look after your home and animals as if they were my own.

I couldn’t have been happier with Kara and her partner. The house was looked after and pets cared for. Coming home all the washing was done and the house was spotless. I would definitely use them again in the future
Kara is an incredible house and pet sitter, she as polite, experienced, attentive and inquisitive of our pet and home needs.
She demonstrated quickly that she had versatility across multiple pets and was comfortable with our request. We were grateful for our updates, with photos and video's of our pet. Kara looked after our home and left it in pristine condition. We could not recommend Kara highly enough.
Kara & Bodhin gave us such peace of mind while they looked after our beloved pets and home. They were attentive to the needs of our pets and very experienced. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a pet sitter and hope that they would considering staying in our home again. Communication was excellent and Kara was very thoughtful in sending updates.
Kara and Bodhin were great sitters. They regularly sent photos and updates during our weekend away and looked after both Opie and our home as if it were there own. They are a fantastic couple and I am hoping that they can come and sit for us again in the future as we would not hesitate to call them to come back.
They came to meet us before the house sitting period at my request and asked great questions which made me feel They would be the best fit and they certainly were.

We were very happy with Kara and Bodhin. They visited a couple of days before we left to familiarize themselves with the house and cat and fish. Communication while we were away was regular and it was nice that they posted photos of our cat who we were missing. Upon our return, the house was just as we left it - clean and tidy. We could not fault them and would engage them again without hesitation.
There's always a nervousness to leaving pets behind when you travel, even more so when they're special needs. All my concerns were eased with Kara and Bodhin. They kept me updated regularly and showed endless patience and care for my dramatic fur-children and their quirks.
The house was in lovely condition and the cats were all content and happy. Have already recommended them to a friend who has special needs pets as well :)
From the very first moment I spoke to Kara and Bodhin on the phone they put me at ease. They went above and beyond in caring for our animals, coming for a visit prior to their stay to be introduced to our pets and early on the day of our departure. Our pets included an active senior Border Collie and 2 very spoilt horses. Both horses required rugging/feeding, hoof pickouts and poop collection. They easily managed my opinionated mare who needed her bottom cleaned as well !!
