Kristien Woodcock & Crystal Woodcock

We decided to join the house sitting community because we have an abundance of love for animals. We have had some great feedback from recent house sits so we've decided to take house sitting on full time.

We have been dog and cat owners for several years in the past. I (Kristien) adopted an adult cat from the humane society a few years before I met Crystal, and then we adopted a dog from the humane society while Crystal was pregnant with our oldest son, who is now 9. So the kids have all had the opportunity to care for our own animals. Crystal has had dogs in her family since she was very young as well;

We also both have some experience caring for larger animals. My mother has owned horses throughout my life, and Crystal has spent time living on a farm with horses, sheep, and cows. We are actually very interested in having our own homestead some day. So we have a natural desire and are eager to learn some of the skills pertaining to gardening, livestock, etc.

We love to be among nature and are physically active and fit for any laborious tasks. As homeowners with rental units, we are familiar with the upkeep/maintenance of a home as well as extensive repairs. We've gutted two of our rental units entirely and applied updates throughout. Crystal also has a work background in landscaping. That being said, we feel very prepared to handle anything that may come up during a house sit.
