Hello,

We are retired homeowners in Gatineau, QC and cared for our five cats over the last 20 years. Now, with the last of our cats put to rest, we’re taking a break from being pet owners, but we would happily take care of your animals. We have experience with small to medium sized dogs, cats and fish.

We are interested in visiting different places and Housesitters Canada provides an outlet for us to do that while keeping your pet company.

We do request a house sit with at least a queen size bed or two separate beds.

It was a pleasure to meet Sharon and Gilles. They are very warm and friendly people. I instantly felt at ease after meeting them and knew that my cat Lucy was in caring hands whilst I was so far away. We were in contact regularly and I returned home to a happy cat and well cared for home. Sharon and Gilles are the absolute best. They took better care of my house than I can with two young ones. They even took the initiative to fix things up (loose toilet seat, remove dead trees, and more) and my cat wanted for nothing. It was a privilege to have found people of this caliber.
