Hello Home & Pet Owners,

We are a retired couple (9+ years), travelling the world and home & pet sitting along the way. Covid arrived and put a hitch in our travels in March 2020, however we are back to sitting now, with protocols in place. We are both vaccinated x5 for covid.

We enjoy our travel lifestyle and also love to settle in and care for others' pets and homes from time to time. Healthy, active non-smokers, we are also big animal lovers and welcome the opportunity to give our love & attention to pets. We delight in time in the outdoors and the chance to be out in the yard pulling weeds or harvesting, hiking, dog walking, cycling and exploring your area. We even spent a 6 week period in winter shovelling snow at a house sit in small town Quebec while we cared for the homeowner's pup (as well as this past winter in Nanaimo where we had snow for weeks, unusually).

A few of our sitting experiences: 13 Rescue pets (5 dogs, 8 cats) in the Costa Rican jungle; 2 separate disabled dogs who used wheelchairs; an Irish peahen who hatched a chick while we cared for her, just to name a few of our almost 60 home & pet sits.

We have cared for many pets since, and, with a break of less than a year during covid, we have continued to do so, as can be seen in our reviews at the website. We completed a long sit in Nanaimo in March 2022, and are booked until October with sits on Vancouver Island, Powell River and Baja, Mexico.

We particularly love the exchange aspect to home and pet sitting arrangements: that we can offer top rate care for your home & pets in exchange for a resting spot for a time, is such a win-win. As well, we appreciate the human connection and have made long term friendships through this experience, both with pets and their owners. Not the same experience as renting a hotel room or even AirBNB accommodation, that is for sure!

We have recently settled in Comox, Vancouver Island, BC., a beautiful town with ample access to the outdoors and nature in our location, Although we still sit through various online platforms, and most often we exchange accommodation for sitting duties, when we are not seeking accommodation, we charge a fee for our services. This fee begins at $40 per night and depends on the number of pets and duties. These details we are happy to discuss before a confirmation is made.

We have been long term home and pet owners during our working years, and fully understand the responsibility required in the maintenance of a home. We view pets as family members, to be cared for as such. We are clean, reliable home and pet caregivers and will always give yours excellence in care. With us caring for your home and pets, you will travel with peace of mind and return to find both in top notch condition.

Though my partner, Aaron, and I enjoy exploring every part of the world that we encounter, when sitting your pets and home - they will always be our priority. We will treat your home, pets and garden with the same care and diligence as if it is our own.
