Helene & Serge

From early emails, we were comfortable with the care Helene and Serge would provide for our home and cat. Via a zoom call we were further reassured and confirmed arrangements for Aug and Sept 2022. They arrived the day before our departure, and we spent a very entertaining evening together. Our home is in a cottage subdivision. During the 7 weeks we were away, they regularly communicated about mail, messages, important neighbourhood activities, and most importantly the antics of our cat ... Via a zoom call we were further reassured and confirmed arrangements for Aug and Sept 2022. They arrived the day before our departure, and we spent a very entertaining evening together. Our home is in a cottage subdivision. During the 7 weeks we were away, they regularly communicated about mail, messages, important neighbourhood activities, and most importantly the antics of our cat Jake! Upon our return, we found the house immaculate, the lawns well-tended, our neighbours very complimentary, and Jake very happy! We have had several housesitters over the last 7 years, and Helene and Serge are great! In fact, we have already booked them for next year!

Helene and Serge were an amazing couple! We had a few days together before we left for 2 months and in that short time we knew that our Leonberger puppy would be in capable hands. Not only did they walk, play, brush and feed her, they had to deal with a heat cycle and a few trips to the vet. They were calm and in control about everything. Our well pump broke so they were without water for a few days and they handled it stress-free. We not only knew the puppy was fine, but also the house was ... They even found a deal squirrel on the duvet of a bedroom that was winterized and she scrubbed out the stain..... forever grateful Helene! They kept in touch and it made our time away pleasant knowing Cleo was well looked after. Also, our house sparkles now! Thanks Helene & Serge!

There simply aren't enough superlatives for Hélène and Serge. From first contact I felt comfortable with them, and that feeling was cemented when I met them in person. So friendly and outgoing, I felt as though we'd been friends for years. Through several changes to the duration of the house sit due to COVID-related cancellations, they were understanding and patient - I cannot say how much I appreciated that. My Cat Clan was happy and healthy, and I could tell that Hélène and Serge loved my cats in return. They even brought my sickly houseplants back to life! Without hesitation I would have them back, they are an absolutely lovely couple. 5 Stars all the way.

Helene and Serge were superb. A very charming and capable couple. We had good communication before we left. We went away feeling safe and comfortable leaving our dog, Gus and home in their care. When we returned, it was obvious that Gus had been well taken care of and our home was cleaner and tidier than it ever is when we are at home. I have nothing but praise for the experience. We had morning coffee together and discussed how the sit went. My dogs loved them and sat by each of them during coffee. My youngest dog knew something was up when they were packing up to leave, following Helene around the house. The house was immaculate, looking better that when I left. Helene & Serge were exceptional, exemplary house sitters in every way!!! Very reliable, excellent communicators, took loving & superb care of our 2 cats and our home was spotless upon our return...we honestly couldn't be happier !! Would love to have them return to look after our home again !! Thank you sooo much, Helene & Serge..we are truly beyond grateful!!!

I must admit that I was a little leery about getting a house sitter as this was my first time. We met with Serge and Helene and instantly were put at ease! What wonderful people! We were on our way home when we heard of a death in the family. We called them and they stayed an extra four days. House was spotless when we returned. Pets are happy and the garden was thriving! Thank you so much for the wonderful care you took! We will definitely have them back again!

Hélène & Serge were wonderful house and catsitters. There were communicative, friendly, provided updates on how things were going, and left everything clean and tidy. I'd happily recommend them, and would be glad to have them back anytime!

Love love love this couple! Our dogs were so fortunate to have Helena and Surg stay for 2 weeks. Sept 15 until September 29th. They were flexible as our original agreement was cancelled. Already planning to have them house/ pet sit again.
