We'd like to introduce ourselves, we are Carolyn and Dave. 2 experienced house and animal sitters you can rely on. Carolyn who has a security background and Dave who is a semi-retired public school teacher have been traveling for the last few years, working and taking care of properties and pets in a variety of situations. We both have acquired a variety of skills including property upkeep and maintenance and recently gained experience at an animal rescue in Portugal where we spent 6 months looking after many dogs, chickens, horses, a cockatoo and a donkey. Carolyn and David are thoughtful, caring and conscientious and we were able to travel for a family visit - first time since the pandemic - with confidence, knowing that our doodle Maya was being well looked after. (She adored them!) They sent us photos too, which was reassuring. When we returned they very kindly picked us up from the airport. The house was clean and tidy, and they even washed their bed linen and towels before they left, which we did not expect. We would love to have them ... MORE

Carolyn and Dave are a lovely couple. They took great care of my elderly border collie and they were affectionate with him from the first moment. Communication was excellent with periodic updates and quick response. The house was taken care and everything was fantastic upon our return. I will definitely recommend them, and I hope they can pet sit with us again. Thanks for everything!

David and Carolyn are awesome. They are so friendly and caring. They took such great care of our dog and elderly quaker parakeet. Molly the dog had a lot of walks and David gained Kirby's (bird) trust to the extent that Kirby would step up on his finger and sit on his shoulder which is amazing. They sent me lots of pictures of my pets which is so reassuring. My pets were in loving hands. Upon return, the house was immaculate. Carolyn even left us with a homemade delicious quiche. We were delighted that Carolyn and Dave were able to house and pet sit for us. They took loving care of the animals and communicated promptly with questions and regularly sent photos and videos of the fur-crew. The home was spotless when we returned - everything was just perfect. We had a long delay at the airport on our return journey and they were super thoughtful and very considerate - especially so close to Christmas when they had their own family plans. If you are searching for a loving, caring couple for your pet, search no more! Dave and Carolyn did a wonderful job taking care of our Leonburger and it felt reassuring to leave her with them when we were away. They included her on trips (Cleo loves car rides) and made her their top priority. It was fun spending time with them before we left and it's nice to know that Cleo bonded with them. Dave and Carolyn were wonderful house/cat sitters for us! Their communications in advance of the 2 week stay and while we were away was timely and top notch. This was the first time our young cat Midnight had other care givers at home and he seemed to be perfectly content and happy when we returned. Carolyn and Dave were absolutely the 2 warmest and caring people I have met and this showed in how they cared for my very elderly cat and as well my home. Spidey my cat is almost 20 and needs precise raw food meals disturbed and particular times and of course lot of love and attention. Carolyn and Dave simply have an authentic love for animals.
