Oh.... Canada! We're Brandon & Danielle; two local Torontonians who have come back home to Canada to experience the joys (and snow shoveling) of our great country!

About Us (Full): We are a married, professional, Canadian couple (sorry), in our 30's. 'Home' is Toronto, Canada, but we have been living and working professionally in Auckland, New Zealand and Brisbane, Australia for the last few years, and have now moved back to Canada. We are currently looking for pet/ house sits until the end of April and would be home most of the day to be with your pets and keep them company.
Experience: - We always do our best to take care of your pets, plants, and home the way we would want our own home to be treated - We can promise that we will always act in 'good faith' in response to any unforeseen circumstances, unexpected visitors, suspicious activity, or emergencies (sick pets, fire, water leaks, and minor home repairs if they arise, etc.) - Inside Pet Experience: cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, hamsters, small snakes and turtles (a long time ago) - Outside Pet/ Animal Experience: calves, chickens, bison, ostriches, horses (Ponies to Clydesdales)... Brandon grew-up on a ranch and has 'unique' animal experience - Teachable: If we don't yet have experience with your pet, we're happy to learn! - Plants/ Gardens: I wouldn't say we have green thumbs, but as long as you show us what to do, we're keen to do it! If you have a prize-winning garden and need someone who is a plant-whisperer, we may not be the best fit for you as we don't know what to do if plants start to turn for the worst... But we are at least honest!
Why We House Sit: 1) At this time in our lives, we don't have pets of our own, but we have both grown up with cats and dogs, so this allows us the opportunity to hang out with furry friends while reaching our financial goals. 2) We use our time pet sitting to allocate our rent budget to pay down our student loans, so that... 3) One day we can afford to have furry family members of our own!

Brandon and Danielle were dream house sitters during what was the challenging COVID period! They were easy to communicate with, reliable, well organised and a joy to leave with our much loved pets with a daily pics of our animals having as much fun as were on our holiday. They came ready with their own supplies for crockery, bedding etc. to minimise the risk of COVID and made it so easy and reassuring to hand our hone and pets over to them. We would gladly have them sit for us again anytime.

Danielle and Brandon looked after our house and most importantly our two little dogs while we were on holiday recently. We could not have been happier with the care they took while we were away. They went above and beyond the call of duty in every way, sending regular newsy friendly messages plus photos of the dogs, to ensure we were never worried on their behalf. One of our dogs, Bonnie, has a skin allergy which requires the daily administration of tablets, and so conscientious were Danielle ... MOREDanielle and Brandon looked after our house and most importantly our two little dogs while we were on holiday recently. We could not have been happier with the care they took while we were away. We are now continuing with it, hoping to be able to stop or decrease the daily tablet regimen.
We came home to flowers and a freshly cleaned house - a lovely surprise. Danielle and Brandon genuinely cared for our dogs and kept them happy and healthy with regular walks and cuddles on the couch. We cannot recommend this young couple highly enough. They were conscientious and reliable in the extreme, kind-hearted and always thoughtful in their caretaker role. We never had a moment's worry while we were on holiday, all thanks to the care they took.

Brandon and Danielle were an absolute delight to have house and kitty sitting. I have 2 cats there are not only extremely needy, but also both have multiple health problems (goodbye savings). B&D were fantastic at giving Apollo his meds and at special diet duty. Communication was fantastic and I felt confident the cats were being looked after well. I had regular photos and text updates without even having to ask.
The apartment was also very well cared for and spotless when I returned.

On my return my home was left clean and tidy, even cleaned out the fridge, and Mia, Gerkin and Pos were happy to have been able to be taken care of in their own home.

Brandon and Danielle are the most wonderful couple who we felt completely at ease with when we met for our "interview". Most importantly though, our beautiful "girls" two Tonkinese cats felt exactly the same way!!! We left for our holiday completely confident that the house would be safe hands and the animals too!! We can't thank Danielle and Brandon enough for the efficient way they dealt with a plumbing issue in our absence. We really didn't worry about a thing as they had everything in ... Quite simply, if Danielle and Brandon are available for your house sit; you would be mad not to have them come and stay. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They are truly delightful people and we are so glad they came to look after house and our pets while we were gone.
We were away for seven and a half weeks and have two cats that needed looking after. Five days before we left; we had to have one of them in for laser surgery to remove some potential skin cancers. This involved her ... MOREQuite simply, if Danielle and Brandon are available for your house sit; you would be mad not to have them come and stay. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They are truly delightful people and we are so glad they came to look after house and our pets while we were gone.
We were away for seven and a half weeks and have two cats that needed looking after. Five days before we left; we had to have one of them in for laser surgery to remove some potential skin cancers. This involved her having the skin from above her eyes to her ears lasered down to the epithelium; she looked like she had been burned and the skin was red raw. She needed a soothing cream applied twice a day for about 10 to12 days as the skin regenerated itself. In short; she was a very sad cat and we were very sad owners leaving her behind.
Brandon and Danielle were left with this additional task and handled it with care and ease. The same cat has to get an injection once a month for an allergy - a regular check up for this condition revealed the new problem that required the treatment just prior to our departure. None of this represented a problem for them and they were sending us a daily update for both cats, but principally for the one that had most of the skin on her head missing as a result of the surgery.
Thankfully she healed fairly quickly and quite well and then she began to have a better relationship with them both as they were not the ones "attacking" her with cream all the time. By this time we were happy to reduce the frequency of updates which they sent to us regularly and with plenty of photos.
We returned after the longest trip of our lives to two very happy furry family members and a spotlessly clean house. In fact, I think the one cat that had the surgery would be happy for them both to come and look after her again and she seems to be looking for them.
We will definitely be having them come and stay the next time we go away. We feel like this has been an opportunity to make two new friends rather than just have someone house/pet sit for us; they are just such nice people that we really want to stay in touch with them. On a scale of 1 to 10 they are a 15.

Brandon and Danielle looked after our house and our dog Murphy for a month while we were overseas, they did an absolutely stellar job! We came back to a house so sparkling clean (I've never seen it so clean!) and a very happy puppy. While we were away B&D kept us updated with everything happening at home and sent through pictures of murph having a wonderful time! I couldn't recommended these guys highly enough - also they're just lovely.

This was our first experience with House Sitting, and our main desire was that our dog Snoop was well cared for. We returned to a home that was well cared for (suspect it is in better shape than when we left it) and a fit, healthy, happy dog.
Brandon and Danielle also encountered a few unexpected 'situations' while we were away.... e.g. extreme batch of storms over two weeks, deluges and downpours that overtaxed the ... MOREBrandon and Danielle were all we could have hoped for, and more!

They coped with these , and any other unpredictables, with admirable ease and 'smarts'. At the same time, they kept us informed, without making us feel concerned.
They sent us pics of Snoop, ... and snake :) as often as we wanted. They cared for our garden, bees, worms, and plant 'nursery', and we came home to a home that had been cared for perfectly.
We had every confidence in them from when we first met, and they went beyond our expectations on every front.
We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone... they are both thoroughly dependable, reliable, smart, considerate, organised,... and all-round good guys :)

We had the pleasure of having B+D (Brandon and Danielle) come to stay for us for 11 nights with our cat and very large dog.
Every interaction we had with them we felt rest assured that our fur babes would be looked after. Even though they mentioned gardening isn't their fortay, all of my little succulent terrariums and pots all survived and looked healthy upon return. Our dog, who is very large and can be quite a handful was actually very sad when they left and let out a few wimpers watching ... Brandon and Danielle are the perfect house sitters! They looked after our house and two Jack Russels for two weeks and did an amazing job. We knew as soon as we met that we would be leaving everything in good hands - and we weren't disappointed. Then, to top it off, at the end of our holiday, it was so good to return home and find everything in such terrific condition. The house, the garden and, of course, the dogs looked great! Brandon and Danielle are a lovely couple who looked after our house for 6 weeks and I would genuinely endorse them to anyone as fantastic house sitters. They were great at prompt communications with us when they had any questions or if something needed our attention. The house was beautifully clean and tidy when we returned, the garden was neat and tidy, and the pool was in in great condition.
While we don't have pets as such, (we only have a worm farm that B&D kept going), I know people ...
